June 1st – Tracy’s Downtown Block Parties (sponsored by City of Tracy) are back! Join us for great food and family fun while enjoying Motown Soul by the Project 4 Band. The Block Party series will be held at the Downtown 6th Street Plaza.  Food will be available for purchase. Event is free to the public from 6pm to 9pm. www.ThinkInsidetheTriangle.com

June 2nd – The Rotary Club and Grand Theatre Center for the Arts presents Garner Tribute Band to Johnny Cash.  Garner and his band have faithfully recreated Cash’s biggest hits with stunning accuracy in this not-to-be-missed musical event. From special concert airings on PBS stations to shows at Folsom and San Quentin Prisons, it’s easy to see why this is the premier tribute to the “Man in Black.” The show is a fun, toe-tapping trip down memory lane honoring Johnny Cash’s life and music, and the boom-chicka-boom sound of his longtime backing band, the Tennessee Three. June 8thThe Dive in Movie series (sponsored by City of Tracy) is happening! Swim over to the Joe Wilson Pool for free swim from 7:00pm – 8:00pm followed by the viewing of Lilo and Stich starting at 8:00pm. Entry fee is $5. Kids under 2 are free. June 9th – Come join us for Jukebox Rock at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts. The audience will take a journey through the 50’s and 60’s. Enjoy music from your favorite time era as they come alive through Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, & Tahitian Dancing. Experience En Pointe’s production performed by many talented dancers & musicians from Mountain House, Tracy, & Lathrop! Ticket prices range from $10 to $15. Showtime is 1:00pm. June 29th – Join us for the return of the Downtown Tracy Artwalk this summer! The Artwalk is a self-guided public event featuring local visual and performing artists, community organizations, and vendors in downtown venues and on the sidewalks of Central Avenue near/around the Grand. The City of Tracy and the local business district collaborate to create a network of creative displays and activities. Now in its 4th year, the Artwalk draws thousands of visitors each summer to historic downtown Tracy! Free to the public from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. www.ThinkInsidetheTriangle.com
