Holiday Light Parade 2019

Our annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place at 6pm on December 7, 2019. The parade route starts on 10th Street w/staging at the corner of A Street. The route continues eastbound on 10th to Central Avenue, then southbound on Central Avenue to the Downtown Plaza at 6th Street. (GNO) Witches & Broomsticks

Wear your witches hat for this Halloween-themed event at the beautiful Downtown Plaza, located at 6th St. & Central Ave.  $25 tickets include a goodie bag, wine tasting and food sampling. Shop the Girls-Only boutiques and dance the night away! Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated witches hat! After-Party continues from 8 to 10 pm with live DJ, no-host bar, free photo booth and dancing!    

Halloween Festivities

Join us to celebrate Halloween in Downown Tracy! Trick-or-Treating at the local businesses starts at 3pm, followed by a Costume March at 4pm from the intersection of 10th St. & B St. to the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts. The Academy of Performing Arts dancers will then perform and instruct a flash mob dance.

At The Grand

The classical Grand Theatre, designed by architect Albert W. Cornelius, opened on August 11, 1923 as a premiere vaudeville half-house in the area. Conceived and built by German-born entrepreneur John C. Droge, the theatre was converted to show “talkies” by the late 1920’s. The facility received a major remodel during its heyday between 1939 and 1941 (under the Allen's ownership), garnered with bold new art deco features including a sculptural marquee designed by Alexander Cantin and futuristic mural by Anthony (Antoon) Heinsbergen.
