The San Joaquin Certified Farmers’ Market is coming to a downtown near you, Downtown Tracy that is! We will be hosting a modified version of our Summer Farmers’ Market to comply with the most up-to-date social distancing and safety protocols from San Joaquin County. It is important that we abide by and respect social distancing, capacity restrictions, and promote proper cleaning and hand-washing among staff, vendors, and attendees. Out of an abundance of caution, and putting our community’s health & safety above all else, we delayed the market’s opening for a number of weeks. The purpose of reopening the market now (defined as an essential business) is to provide another outlet for fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, and baked goods for our local community. For the moment there will be no music, entertainment, or hot food vendors as we are minimizing the social/gathering aspect of the market while we continue to fight the effects of COVID-19. The market will take place each Saturday from 8am to 1pm beginning May 2nd, 2020 with a singular entrance at 10th Street & Central Avenue in Downtown Tracy.
