About TCCA

The Tracy City Center Association (TCCA) is a 501(c)(3) Community Benefit District which was officially formed in December 2009 with the primary purpose of bringing about the revitalization of the city center and the surrounding areas.  The goal of TCCA is to facilitate the investment of private and public capital, the offering of quality public improvements, educational, cultural, artistic, charitable and social events and services that will result in the increased economic well-being of residents, employees, business and property owners within the TCCA district and the downtown locality.  The western boundary of TCCA is A and 10th Streets, the northern is Grunauer Alley and Central, eastern is the east side of Central Avenue, with the southern boundary at 6th Street and the commercial block between 6th and D Streets.

TCCA sponsors a variety of special events; among these are the Fall Wine Stroll, a weekly San Joaquin Certified Farmers' Market (May-October), the Then & Now Car Show, an annual Halloween Parade, Holiday Lights Parade & Tree Lighting, 6th Street Plaza Block Parties and much more.  In addition to TCCA sponsored events, Tracy is known for the California Dry Bean Festival, which features food, fun, live entertainment and a car show… the event is a wonderful weekend for the public to learn about our agricultural heritage. The Fourth of July Day-In-the-Park is a taste of true Americana with hot air balloons, arts and crafts, and a spectacular fireworks display.  The City of Tracy provide a Concerts in the Plaza, Taste of Tracy and Movies in the Plaza series throughout the summer months.

Tracy proudly features a wide variety of shops, salons, restaurants and professional service businesses; most of which are independent merchants throughout our district.  We invite you to come, visit and return to experience the warmth of downtown Tracy.
